The new tools of version 10 opens up a wide range of new possibilities. Pressing the new Tools button in the right menu opens the list of tools relevant for the active function. There are basic interactive tools like parallel, raster, link, various corners, dart hood e.g. as well as extensive tools like Front part and Back part tools, Frill and versatile Insert tools.

In this context attention is invited to the new function ‚Re-set clicks'. Using this function the clicks of interactive and non-interactive constructions can be re-called. This allows the user to detach several pieces of the current style and store it in the call list for later use in other styles. In this way it is also possible to correct 'click' mistakes.

Beside of such fundamental news there are many smaller improvements as for instance:

• organization of shapes of interactive constructions in folders
• recorded stack point
• new plot and print options with improvements when using several Windows printer and free definition of plot frame size
• completely revised import function and improvements at export including the support of ASTM format

In the call list now the use of other picture formats with smaller size is possible. The use of shortcuts will facilitate working with Grafis.

There are a lot of improvements in the functions for size rule grading. Version 10 contains a revised grade point dialogue with detailed list view and figure type organization and optimized dragging of grade points and size rules. A raster function is also available.

GRAFIS Version 10 allows to open styles by double-click onto the style in any folder or directly from the email program. This option is especially interesting for users who regularly exchange Grafis styles with colleagues or partners.

The layplanning application also contains improvements. These are for instance a new function to combine several styles in one layplan, fine-rotation in steps of 1° and an improved connection of Autonester application. Furthermore the repeat options has been extended and the possibility of defining exchangeable parts has been added.

Beside of these visible changes version 10 is based on a new application development system. According to wishes of many users the background in white is now standard in Grafis.
