Grafis Version 10 is the focus of our IMB 2009 presentation. It is a CAD software for patternmaking, grading and marker making, in short, patternmaking at its best.

In Grafis, the pattern construction steps are recorded and the ensuing pattern pieces are dependent upon one another. This principle allows for the automatic grading of styles according to body and/or finished measurements.

A prominent innovation in Grafis Version 10 is the 'Reset clicks' function especially when combined with the 'insert' tools. The user can now disconnect intricate style developments from one mother piece and bind the same development to another style or piece. Using this function, the user can then create company specific workmanship modules.

For customers that already have Grafis Version 10, we will showcase the current developments of a follow-up version. It will include finished measurement pattern blocks for womenwear tops, new menswear pattern blocks, further developments for the import/export functions, tools to create and organise measurement charts as well as the importing of pixel graphics into the Grafis marker maker.

The PDM software BizzoFlex is new. It has been developed especially for the requirements of Grafis users. It enables the user to manage styles, markers and trimmings as well as organise measurement charts, cost sheets and workflow process descriptions. BizzoFlex is available as a single-user version with PDF file readout.

Other highlights include developments from Grafis partners. Grafis is controlled by a scripting language for an automatic custom fit blouse production. Other partners will present lingerie patternmaking and patternmaking for made-to-measure. Another topic is new concepts in Grafis instruction and training.
